Blues Traveler, 05/19/2010
A fellow taper reached out to me on the taping message boards and knowing that I am a big fan of Blues Traveler, asked me if I would be interested in attending and taping a private concert that the band was performing at the Eastern Market in Washington DC for the Everglades Society. I enthusiastically accepted his request, and we were also able to get another taper in the door. Tickets to this event were not sold, and the public was not invited, so I felt very cool indeed.
Granted this “venue” is absolutely horrible for live music, but even with that said, I still feel like I did a very decent job with the recording.
